National and Regional Poster Competition
A competition as part of the Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month celebrations in June 2008.
To kick-off the History Month we ran a national Art Poster competition for schools/organisations and individuals. The theme was to create an image to celebrate GRT History Month in June.

The competition was officially launched on 19th February at the House of Lords. Lord Avebury is a strong supporter of GRTHM and was in attendance to chat and discuss the artworks produced by GRT artists as part of the competition. The artwork was made into a high quality set of posters.

The competition involved finding out about the different histories, cultures and languages of Gypsies, Roma and Travellers (GRT) and then combining this into one Art Poster for the competition.
